Weather: Sunny, mid 70's
Duties : Clean bike, and fill'er up
Pleasures: Go for a ride on the S4RS
20 min. in to my ride, just as the bike is getting warmed up I see some curves and open road so I do as most us do and rev up the RPM's and hold on [moto]. Just then I look in my rear view mirror and see Xmas lights [leo], SH#@%! He pulls me over and I start the "what's wrong officer , why are you pulling me over" dance, when I noticed he was more interested in the bike and its bling. He said "I clocked you at 90 MPH". I said "good thing I didn't shift into third" and that's when the conversation switched over to S4RS specs and performance. He said his 748 is up for sale and has been interested in the Monster class. After about 15 minutes of roadside discussion he let me loose with a "warning"[bow_down] and to do him a favor, I turned him on to the DMF for future info.

That's awesome [thumbsup]
Location of the bobbie trap?
Last time I got stopped by a moto cop I tried a little small talk about bikes and what-not and the guy not only wrote me up, but didn't say two words while he was doing it. It was a bogus ticket to boot. And he wrote me up for doing exactly what he was doing--I was following him. Fooker. >:(
One of my architect friends was riding over the San Rafael bridge last week and got nabbed by a moto [leo]. The cop complimented his riding though too fast and then offered him a job. Said he'd get paid to ride a 1200cc BMW every day. [laugh]
They even talked pay and pension. He said it was way more than he was making as an architect. :o

How did he get him? I did 140+ on that bridge a time or two. Upper deck about 2 am.
Was always worried about a radar trap from the Marin side coming down the incline.

I've never seen anyone hanging out at the Quentin end (going westbound). I think they mostly hang out going eastbound to follow, or at the toll plaza for westbound traffic.
I got stopped by a moto cop who'd been at the toll plaza and saw me passing traffic going up the bridge. He was cool when he stopped me, saying, "some guys would give you a ticket for doing 75", and "you're pretty conspicuous on that thing, try to take it easy, OK?". He let me go with a warning.
Might've had something to do with me being on the Vespa that day. ;)

Cops will often let you off once they figure out you're gay. Better than risk the lawsuit for discrimination.

I want to "cap" but I'll refrain. ;D
Ding!
I was on 101 doing about 85+ through traffic and a CHP motorcop, no less, pulls next to me, gives me the 'slow-down' hand sign. Just let me go.
Probability would have pulled me over if I was on a Lambretta. Only breeders ride Lambretta's.
