Title: Replacing RHS Oil cooler Line S2R 800
Post by: CairnsDuc on November 19, 2008, 02:15:33 AM
G'day all

After some searching around on the board I just want to confirm the Info I have found.

I want to replace the oil line that goes over the cam belt cover on the RHS of the engine, with a line that follows the OEM line under the engine and then up on the left to the Oil cooler.
I have read that the HyperMotard line is a perfect fit (PN# 875.1.136.1A)

I just want to confirm that is correct?

Thanks

In case you haven't seen this, take a look.  http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=12619.0  There's a post in there with part numbers and such for aftermarket AN-6 fittings that may wind up being cheaper (and nicer) than the OEM route.

Yes the Hyper Motar line will be fine, a little $$$ but looks good..!!  [thumbsup]

This are old pictures but will do just to show how they look..

Thanks Guys, I also just got a PM back from Monstyr, he has done this same Mod to his S2R 800 and also confirmed the above Info is correct.

I approached a couple of different companies to get them to make the line for me, none of them were the slightest bit interested, I took the bike to there workshops or Depot's, no, job to small, not interested.
So they can get bent, I'll order from one the board suppliers then.....

I also considered the DIY option as suggested in the other thread, but I'm to lazy to build the thing myself  [cheeky]
