Title: BWWWOOOAAHHH - custom map PC3
Post by: Fresh Pants on November 19, 2008, 06:44:13 AM
Got my dyno sheet scanned from Saturday, dropped my monster off at Faster for a custom PC3 map.

:D

2001 Monster 900
Before: Pipercross air filter, Sil Moto low megaphones - no dB killers = 75.33 HP/53.40
After: +PC3, open airbox lid, custom map = 78.33 HP/55.40

I like the "whoomp, whoomp, whoomp, whoomp" sound at idle, and the BWWWWOOAAAHH!!! at WOT.
From my short ride, it's smoothed things out a little and reduced backfiring a bit.

I'll probably have to wait until a little later to give a more descriptive ride report.

Thanks to Bart@Faster.

Bart is the man. He has done a ton of work on my old race bike. I had a 2002 R6 full race bike at 98 hp .
When he was done with the rebuild and freshin up it was at 108 hp on U4 fuel on a carbed  R6.

If Im not @ BMS with the ducs my second choice is Faster and Bart.

Bart and Brian used to sponser me when it was TK Motorsports.  Top notch guys and great work.
They are the best on Jap stuff in Colorado. IMO.
