Title: Need input, Yamaha SRX600
Post by: the_Journeyman on November 21, 2008, 06:20:39 AM
Is this a good bike? Anybody know anything about it? Good 1st bike for a new rider? Easy to work on?

Looks to me like a TT600 motor in a street oriented package. I found one that is actually in my budget and runs and is probably in decent condition. I don't have a year or mileage on it, but want to call and ask the seller some questions but need some input first.

Here's what one might look like:

Thanks folks!

You have to be quick to buy a SRX600.  These bikes have a cult following.  There weren't many brought to the U.S.  I think they would make a great first bike if you can find another.  They look great when customized or cafe'd.
