i have a carby 1996 M900. i installed some clipons a while back and i have always wanted to improve the look of the front end by replacing the now 6 inch too long throttle cable. i have some pretty aggressive clipons. they are below the triple and have zero rise. i have always wondered what other shorter OEM ducati throttle cables might work.
i was wondering if anyone could confirm that the throttle cable from the SS 900 would be the proper candidate?

It would certainly be a lot closer.

anyone out there have a carby SS that they might be able to measure?
also, anyone know how to track the part number down for the SS throttle cables? i could always suck it up and head to the dealership except i loathe interacting with the parts department at my local dealership... to say that they are retarded lemurs would be an insult to retarded lemurs the world over.
