Hello Everyone!
Hey this looks like home! I've been really busy and have not been on any boards much lately due to work.
When I'd drop in the OLD BOARD it was like WTF is going on here??
All the crap they said they wouldn't do............. they did.... so screw-em.
Thanks for the directions over here.
I haven't even really looked around but I'm %99 sure based off of the names here that I can find the same wit, class and knowledgeable people that was on the Old board that is so obviously missing there now.
I just spent most of the this year up in Southern Ohio on a project up there.
It was the first time I've spent more than a month in the US at a time and I really enjoyed it.
I bought me a 40" Toy Hauler to so I could haul up my Toys with me... of course I had to have a Truck to pull it with so I think I must have set some sort of stupid record for mobilization to a job cost! Oh well I have a cool little moto house when I am not in Ecuador and am up in the US visiting family or working.
The Southern Ohio, Northern Kentucky and WV area is a LOVELY SPOT for Motorcycling!
Those of you there know it I'm sure. I didn't get out as much as I'd like to due to the fact that I almost work 7 days a week due to the nature of what I do but even a halve a day off would allow me to go out and do a nice little ride through "The Hollers" and wind up at a little Biker Bar & Grill for some comradeship with other two wheelers. OK they were mostly the HD Cruiser types but what the heck. I noticed that it seemed that NONE of them seemed to care WHAT TYPE of bike anyone else rode it was all waves and thumbs ups from anyone on two wheels.
Didn't rack up a lot of miles on my Monster but I got to ride it or my Adventurer probably 3-4 days a week and I could take off from the Job/Home area and immediatly hit some two lane county roads with speeds in the 35-90mph range with no straights longer than .25 mile and most of the less than that. I'd do a 20 mile 30 minute ride and then have a burger or wings and a beer or two then take the 4 lane home 8 miles. All in all a nice way to end a day when most weeks involved 70-90 hour work weeks.
Enough of what I've been doing it is nice to Find Home and I look forward to catching up (-:
