Not a bad looking, honest machine.

i have read alot about this and most all writers think it could be harley's best.
It could be the only Harley I ever own. I grew up on AMA flat track racing. It goes deep into my scooter psyche. I watch my On Any Sunday dvd way more than I should. There is probably a 12 step program about flat track racing I should look into. It's all American and the base of hundreds of racers... many who have become World Champions in other venues of bike racing. Hell, it's the Rock and Roll equivalent to bike racing!
It pains me to admit this, but that bike is bad ass [thumbsup]

not a bad looking bike...i'm happy to see them do something like this. i thought the nightster was pretty cool, but this is way better. just wish those cans ended a bit higher up, ala the S2/4r
Good job H.D.!
I could actualy see buying that...
You want some Termi's with that?

Daaaaaaaaamn! This is looking more and more like the 1978 XLCR style offering. Saw some of those on ebay recently for 8-10k. All this needs is the cafe racing bubble fairing like a Paul Smart, a little CF here and there, clip ons and I'd grind the back of that biotch in some twisties ala THC style any day. And when the breakage inevitably happens you won't have to spend an apendage to get parts. As the Dodge boys said...Sweeeeeeeeeeet. Go Americans!
That looks pretty sweet!
Contrary to common belief, someone at Harley can actually make a bike for the rest of us. [thumbsup] Will wonders never cease?
if i had the extra 10k at this moment that would be the bike, Termi pipes (cant wait to see if Supertrapp makes a Flat track replica system for this!! [bow_down] ) Flat track race seat and some Go fast goodies for the motor... price isnt bad neither at 10k [beer]

apparently only recently did they make it available on this side of the pond.
I know why they bought MV Agusta. Makes sense. They wanted a euro bike company under their corporate umbrella to cheat on the import tariffs and set up a production facility over their. But why in the hell did they make the bike that everyone in the States has been crying for since the '77 XLCR cafe racer for the euro market only? Were they trying to piss off their US customer base? Seems like they have done a good job of that. :P
Damn. That is one good looking pig. I would ride the shit out of that...
Pretty cool for an HD. When does the demo ride trailer get into town?
It is a big improvement but I could never be happy with it, as is, and would just spend more $$ turning it into this.... http://www.storzperf.com/jpgs/page24.html
THAT is what Coulda/Shoulda The Storz
does look like a whole lot of fun.
As far as the rumor goes (regarding the XR1200 coming to (staying in?) the states), one of my instructors here at MMI said that the school hear already has all the tech lit on the bike, presumably to gear up for its release here. He even said that the school actually HAD an XR1200, but I ain't seen it yet. I'll let you know when I do.

Yeah, I went to a few dealer websites and they are advertising already, "Deposits by December 15!" and all that.
I could ride one. I actually really like them.
For similar $$ as an m1100 which I've been considering, this bike is very tempting. It would sound great rolling alongside my wife's buell. [evil]
