Time for the December Zeitgeist MOB meet-up. Because of the holidays, it'll be a week earlier than normal.
Location: Zeigeist. Duboce and Valencia in SF. Map (http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&q=duboce+and+valencia+san+francisco+ca&ie=UTF8&ll=37.770681,-122.422371&spn=0.00765,0.019226&t=h&z=16&g=duboce+and+valencia+san+francisco+ca&iwloc=addr).
Date: Thursday, Dec. 18
Time: 6:30 or 7ish til whenever the last person drags their ass home.
You know the scoop. Beer, bourbon, tamales, burgers, sordid conversation, lies and false bravado. The usual. [evil] New faces welcome. Bundle up. It'll likely be cold. I *love* winter Zeitgeist nights. Plan to also meet up again about a week later (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=15491.0) for some food and drink with Duck-Stew, who'll be in town for the holidays.
BikerGoddess and I will be in NYC :'(
Have fun you guys, and enjoy a tamale for me.
I'm helping my sister with her Martial Arts Show in Oakland but should be able to swing by afterwards... mmmm, Zeitgeist margaritas!!! [drink]
Yeah. OK. I'll go.
yep.
I'll make/bring my $250 Neiman Marcus chocolate chip cookies for dessert! ;D

Hey man, that's premature early access. Half-baked even. You don't get to touch that dough till it's out of the oven.
Unless something life threatening comes up, I should make it this time! But the earliest I can get there is 8ish. I assume that's not too late?

:o I better poop diamonds after I eat these cookies. [laugh]
Srsly...why are they $250? ...besides the fact that
Neiman Marcus Needless Markup has blessed them with their labeling? Not to bag on your cooking or anything, but I'm guessing that I'd scarf down cookies just as eagerly that had the decimal placed a couple of numbers over to the left. Without expectation of sparkly poops though. ;D
Sorry, I have two children, a wife and a recession breathing down my neck.
Which is to say "An excuse to drink? I'm there!!"

Thanks Somegirl - this is Take 2 re: the origin of these cookies :-* [thumbsup]
See y'all just before 8 pm'ish next Thursday!
I miss tamale from lady and [drink] [beer] since i took some class after work , it will end soon can't wait.
And I'm bringing a new Groupie (we'll call her Groupie #2...sorry Judy...#1 is already taken) on Thursday! [thumbsup] [laugh] Looking forward to seeing everyone!
Forecast is dry. We're gonna have to bundle up though and drink bourbon to stay warm. I love cold, wintery Z nights. [thumbsup]
Planning on it.

My kid's Christmas show starts at 7:00 pm and baby jeebus only knows when it will end, but I am going to try to make it.
It better friggen warm up. I won't last long outside with wet hair and no booze. >:(
Never Never land should never be cold like this. It just doesn't fit the decor.
I scraped ice off my windows this morning.
I see 70% chance of rain Thurs.
Looks like its time to bundle up [wine]
These DMF'ers (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=15829.0;topicseen) are knocking ice out of their tires when they ride.
And we're complaining. [laugh]
I had trouble talking first thing this morning because my chin was numb. It's not that cold, but at 70 mph the wind chill starts to kick in. And does anyone else have a metal tank still? Do ya notice that that sucker is a tad bit chilly when you first sit down? Brrrr.... :P

I just hit it with blast from a hand-held torch before riding. And I keep fresh-out-of-the-frier-chicken in my crotch for heat. Pizza works too.
BTW, one weather report said 70% chance of rain tomorrow, but the hour-by-hour said 0%. I think that means there is a 70% chance of one drop falling somewhere sometime tomorrow.
Cheese crotch. I heard that was a good way to make friends with dogs. Is that true?

Dunno. I always use peanut butter. Saves lots of money I'd otherwise spend on dating.

I know this kid who... at a party, infront of about 15 people.
I'm going to go wash up my best flannel so I can stay warm AND look sharp
NOAA weather says showers are likely on Thursday night, but it will be a few degrees warmer than it has been the last few nights. Perhaps I can warm my hands in your beard, Vinnie, if the squirrels and birds don't mind? [cheeky]
btw, Grizzly Adams called...he wants his shirt back. [laugh]
<meh> If it rains, we'll stay inside. Personally, I need my booze and I need my last pre-breeding Z night. I can already taste the beery goodness. Course, that might be just be my breakfast. ;D
Yoz, met a motorcycle guy at Mars bar last night -- invited him to the Zeit for your amusement -- he rides a GS.

I know :-\
I avoid the zeit like the plague. I met my future ex-wife there, you know.
It was awesome to finally put faces to names. I'm sure I'm going to butcher some names so forgive me now, but I believe met Warren, Chris I(sp?), Dan, Adrian (sp?), Francis (sp?), Vinnie, Stephanie (thanks for the great cookies!), John, Matt, Heather, Jamie (sp?), Pete, and groupie (Judy?). Sorry if I've missed anyone. Until next time...ciao
Sorry I missed the festivities. A good friend from NZ called and we yakked for a couple of hours, after which I had to wrap presents. Hope y'all stayed warm.

I was hoping to also meet a fellow MV'r, so hopefully next time. Luckily, it wasn't as cold as it was the previous nights.

Yeah, me too. Next time for sure.
Sorry I missed everyone. I was wrecked after a long week. I fell asleep at 5pm and woke up at 9:30. :-\
Next time!
We're idiots. We were sitting the rain. It was fun. ;D Good to meet ya, sfarchie and new "groupie".

Nice seeing everyone, as always.
I especially like the juxtaposition of the "rough road" sign in that last one [laugh] [laugh]
