Wow- Monsters in New Mexico. I'm Nic and I live mostly in New York, but we have a home in Albuquerque and get out there for 2-week stints every few months. I shipped my '97 M900 out there earlier this year. I haven't noticed many Ducs on the streets (lots of cruisers, though). I rode over to PJ's last trip (in June) to check out the dealership.
I'm headed back to ABQ in a few weeks (Balloon Fiesta!), and it would be cool to hook up with some other ducsters.
Oh, I'm at the grandpa age (64), work as a telecomm consultant, can cook, play some guitar. We stay in NY because we're both still working and we can neve make the money in other locales. And, I sail, and it would be hard to be away from the salt water for long periods.
Anyway, I'll be on the lookout for Ducs as I cruise the streets of ABQ.
Welcome to the board nicrosato. You can check out all of the NM activities here. http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?board=49.0 (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?board=49.0)
There is a good group of riders that enjoy meeting frequently around the Albuquerque area. Check the "who's riding this weekend" and Tuesday night" thread for get together info.
I've actually been a member of this board since it began. I was a member of TOB for probably a year. I tend to be more of a lurker than a poster, which is why I haven't outgrown my new member status.
I've been reading the posts in the NM section. Sounds like a levely group. I will try to meet up with some of you when I get to ABQ next week.
And a question: What are the thresholds for the various status descriptions- New Member, Jr., Sr, Full, Hero? As I* pointed out above, I've been a member here from
Day 1 or 2, but do not post too often. So, I remain a newbie.
I"ve searched the Board but haven't found a description yet.
It's a matter of number of posts. Keep going you'll get there. [thumbsup]

It's not published because it isn't important, but since you asked...
