and it occurred to me that Mr. Smarty-Pants MIT doesn't have the common sense to wear a helmet on that contraption? If ever something looked like it would give you a solid face-plant, that thing does.
That used to be Desmostro's logo, if I recall...then again, that logo had a guy wearing a helmet ;D

why would one need a helmet? that thing looks as safe as a blind man operating a wrecking ball 8)
We did a thread on this once. It's a hacked Segway with some squid parts. It goes like 13.
