I wanted to make sure my customer was 100% happy with the noise level, so I set about installing some "DB Killers" inside the megaphone. Based upon what I was told, and some comments I've recieved, these ought to suit the customer much better. They are almost identical to the open termis, and now sound MUCH better on decel than before (IMHO).
Enjoy:
I think you're missing a link. [popcorn]

Sure, I just need a bike for about a week. Now that I've got the swaged ends made up, the rest is pretty easy. Ducati/termi used metric tubing for their exhausts, and I had to send a bit off and have some tubes custom swedged to have a tight fit on the slip.
No leaks make for happy people :)
Thanks for the compliments, its MUCH more daily driver-able (is that a word?) now.
Oh yeah, and I went out and bought a lathe. I can't stand waiting on people for things for WEEKS at a time. Machinists are just about as prompt as MOST body shop people....
I know probably the un-baffled set was louder, but it had a certain ring to it that I liked. Either way the bike sounds mean and probably has to be heard in person.
