Hello,
I am new to riding motorcycles on the street and so far I am having a blast. I rode dirt bikes several years back, but no street experience. I am a retired race car driver, fabricator and welder so those are my odd skills....Bought my Monster 696 back in June of 08 and love it! I have wanted a Monster for a couple of years, but had to convince the wife that I would not kill myself....(this took years by the way)
As of right now, I have 1800 mi. on my bike and I have had no problems with the bike. I put the DP touring seat on my bike and I did the DP tail chop. I will tell you, if you have a 696; the DP touring seat is worth every penny! I am going to be coring the stock 696 exhaust cans this week so hopefully I can bring something to the table and help some folks on here.
Regards,
Ryan
Welcome Ryan! I think I welcomed you in the other thread too, but that's ok. Glad to hear you are enjoying your bike. [thumbsup]
Oh, and I think I mentioned before that we like pictures. ;)

Thanks all for the warm welcome! Look forward to contributing to the board. As far as my career, I wish the economy was better so I could still drive! As fate would have it, when the economy goes bad, motorsports are the first to go!

Welcome to the board.

Great pictures!!!!!
I like your credentials. I had a friend who worked for Falken tires, I think for the drift team. His name is Brian but goes by Tree. Anyways welcome aboard.
David
LOL!! I know "Tree" quite well, how is his "modeling" job going? They got rid of all the folks from when I was there...i.e. Mickey, Edo, Eric, Mr. Tree, etc. They are only running a few cars this year as well. Tree was managing my car when I was there. Did he move out of L.A.? .....small world....
