Post by: muskrat on January 15, 2009, 07:09:47 PM
well, used really but what would you offer on this 1990 750 with just a hair under 14,000 miles? http://www.eurosportcycle.com/used%20bikes/750%20sport.jpg

Lisa was kind enough to find it for me today so I may drive over Friday to see it.

damn, are you at my house and spying on me or tracing my internet?  I just wrote that guy back.  He lives in IL and is coming back Monday where's he's working out of for 6 months.  Already on this but this one would be for wife-to-be so she can tag along instead of riding cup cake on the cruiser.

Scott, is it possible for you to keep the same board name for more than 2-3 days in a row? [laugh] You know there is medicine for that. [drink]

I was totally checking that bike out a couple days ago.  It it really cool [thumbsup]

So, back to the original question......What would one offer?
Eurosport is asking $4500
KBB.com says $3200
I would print the KBB and take that in and offer $3000.00.  Worse they can do is say no. Ask what the lowest they'll take, and then offer less than that......

I like this:

If you have an itch....sounds like you found some new! ;D

That bike is pretty rough for $4500. I looked at that bike a couple of weeks ago.

it's a rare bike but not  because it was limited edition but bad sales at that time (mid 80s, late 80s in US) they havent sold too many and the made this model for a few years 86-90 i think then they replaced it with the classic 900SS look (min, RichD pilot etc)

i wouldnt pay more than 3k and that's kinda high for this bike...

I just got back from there.......not a penny over $2000 plus it looks like it has an oil leak.  too much work for my taste but she's pretty in the pics.  And that 750SS (yellow) is a wreck.  They want way too much money for both IMO
