Welcome.

If you'd like ideas, I'd suggest browsing the forum. Specifically the Bikes of the DMF thread (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=205.0 (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=205.0)) and the Accessories and Mods section (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?board=5.0 (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?board=5.0)).

Thanks~~

I got my bike last week and I LOVE IT~!!

Specially being my first bike i'm putting more love into it..

But i guess my clutch is not happy....since nobody gave me a lesson how to ride a bike.

Haha...sounds kinda scary...Since now i live in Philippine i don't need a license and police won't pull over ducati bikes.

Previous owner dropped it before...so got a dent under the muffler.

But going to exchange muffler anyways so i didn't bother...

So far i put tank protector, White stripe on a wheel, took off side mirror (but i gotta put something on there...gash dangerous)...

I want to change my light to either HID, or ET headlight with HID.  But ET lights are pretty expensive and weird that it said only upto 2001.  I think it will fit...

Also i want to reupholster my seats with red stitching, carbonfibre muffler, paint frame red, etc...

Please give me alot of advises....thanks.

Only less then 20monsters in Philippine...i think.

Glad you are having fun with it! [thumbsup]

Is there anywhere you can take riding lessons?  Or do you have any friends who ride?

If not, try to get in some practice time.  Find an empty lot or similar space, and practice various things:
- clutch control (don't use the throttle, just let out the clutch slowly and use that to move yourself forward)
- braking
- turning / countersteering / looking through turns
You might want to visit our Riding Techniques (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?board=8.0) section.

As JBubble said, you will find some good suggestions in Accessories and Mods (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?board=5.0) and we also have a series of How-To Tutorials (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?board=54.0).

If you post up specific questions in Accessories and Mods you will probably get some better answers.   You can also run a Search (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?action=search;advanced) for suggestions on mirrors, lights, exhausts, etc.

Best of luck. :)

It's good that you have friends to ride with, but +1 to somegirl's advice about practicing in a parking lot, especially emergency stops - you don't want to lock up your brakes when the emergency happens. Also, ride at your own pace, keeping up with faster riders is a great way to crash. Good Luck!

and put some time in on a dirtbike away from the roads to get a feeling for how a bike reacts in slippery situations. much less injury and damage potetntial as you gain more seat time.
