rumour has it that Super will carry extra fuel for T, Dock not sure what you have to do to buy into that particular bromance...
[cheeky]
Wasn't Big T going to turn his "camelback" drinking thingy into a fuel bladder.
Dock I'm sure you could engineer something to carry giving you and extra couple of litres for the S4RS riders.
.... hang on a minute Super is confirmed - have I missed something, is the baby back on the road? (yes I know its still a couple of weeks away)

No one can beat the chopper, not even with a 1km start.
This is his territory, his backyard, he has already pissed on every tree, so we are in his domain.

Ummmm, this is going to hurt.
I'm gonna have to withdraw my inclusion on said ride. My fricken toe isn't as good as it should be and my bike is still at Frasers awaiting my replacement Arrows.
Long story short, broke toe 3 weeks ago Sunday, still hobbling around. Bike is awaiting new pipes and they will be there ~ 30th May (hopefully). But i can pick it up as it's only cosmetic that they are getting changed.
I know I've gotta "HARDEN THE F*CK UP!", but I am in agony when I try and use my left foot. This has pissed me off no end and I'm desperate to get my bike back. I haven't ridden in over 2 months and I'm getting withdrawal symptoms.

Super, I feel for you. I had an operation on my right big toe (apparently "Great Toe ' in surgeon speak) 5 weeks ago and it was a bit painful. Some of you may remember that my typing was even worse than now...
Lucky for me it was the right toe - I was back riding in two weeks - left Toe, ouch - Perhaps you need to set up your bike with a race shifter and then stop when you have to get back to neutral so that you can start again..... [laugh] [laugh]
Or you can go the other way - Pethadine [thumbsup]. No really, race shift pattern and have it set up so that you can change down using the top of you foot rather than your toe!
Ah well, you can always come to the Creek and watch me and the DesomediciRR take to the track.... [bang] [laugh] [laugh] [laugh]

As the 31st is fast approaching, I was wondering if anyone has set meeting points for the north and westies? I thought I might suggest a meeting point from out this way.
Roll call for the people west of Gladesville bridge who are attending. ??? Or do people prefer to meet at the one place?

There's usually a few meeting points for people congregating in and around Sydney.
I suggest that the ride's official starting point is Loftus Oval, just before the turn off to the RNP.
I would suggest a 8.30am arrive for a 9am depart. (and yes this time I will arrive on time with a full tank!)
I will be getting to Mecca by around 7.30, leaving 7.50ish to get to Loftus in time with a fuel stop.
That would get us to Bald Hill about 9.40am. Pit stop only to pick up Sth riders..
On to Mt Kiera and MP Pass. Fuel stop in Robertson for the Testasrettas - around 145 kms (no stop at pie shop, we'll do that on the return loop)
On to KV for lunch, then Nowra, Kiama and back up Jamberoo Mtn road to the pie shop.
Down the pass, out along the back roads, past Lil's (nick and robs) corner and then fuel at the mobil getting back on the freeway - about another 150kms.
Back up Mt Keira, on to Broughtons Pass and Appin for a cleansing ale.
So:
7.30am Mecca
8.30am Loftus Oval
9.40am Bald Hill
Post up any other meeting places!
7.30 at Mecca's for me and then follow the troop with a fuel fill up before the oval..... [moto]

Yeah that's good it's a BP, maybe those coming from the South or in the South can meet there fuel up and head around the corner to the car park before the RNP.
Heard on the traffic updates on the radio that roadworks are continuing on Maq pass! Any reason for us to be concerned? Previous posts mentioned resurfacing, is there likely to be fresh bitumen? Any local info?

Hey, join the club. :-\
Looks like I can make it on Saturday (woot!). Just one quick question, where the hell is Mecca? ???
Tricolore I will be leaving from North West Syd at about 6:30am [coffee] to make it southside by 7:30am.
Mecca is on King Street, Sydney between Clarence and York on the side of the Grace Hotel...
Well Goldfish that sucks cause I was kinda hoping you might help lead....
Of course I know how to get to the Pie Shop but from there I'm a little bit of a novice when it comes to getting into K.V.
Guess I'll have to study the map a little harder...

I had the main relay under the seat next to the indicator flasher go bad on me and look like a starter motor problem... If you've still got the original yellow one there, carefully lever the yellow cover off and press the contacts together and see if it starts properly then. It's a simple thing to check and it's only 8 or 10 bucks to replace from any auto parts shop.
If it's the starter, Ducati won't sell you any parts, just a complete replacement, but there's some info over in TOB about which Kawasaki brushes and brush plate fit in - I bet Ron @ Flywheels would be happy to sell you kwaka parts for your Duc ;-)
