Hi all, I have an 05/ s2r800 with a full arrow ti system and me thinks it might be a little too loud for where I live and have considered going for termi slip ons and selling my arrow ti slip ons. Is this even possible? Thanks
Try earplugs. They do a good job at drowning out the neighbors. ;D
Lol, seriously.
How big is the pipe diameter? I have some extra Termi slip ons at the shop and I think the dia. is 50mm? I don't remember if they had a funky flange. If no one else chimes in I can check tomorrow.
Sweet, thanks [thumbsup]
Why not just put db killers in the Arrows?

Great point. I know the Arrows are loud but the open Termis won't be much quieter.
Just sayin...
I'm in the same boat, actually....where does one get the Db killers for the Arrows?
I have the db killers, with them in it sounds like a stock, bike, wayyyy to quiet. I've heard open termis and the difference is significant enough to swap em out.

Just pull out you baffles & start drilling holes....... my buddy with the same bike as you started by enlarging all the current holes & then added some new ones. That didn't do the trick for him so he ended up cutting off the clsed end & the sound to him was just right.
Have you tried riding your bike around your driveway with your helmet off ??? I found that Arrows because of their length, shorter than Termis, sound really loud on the bike. It's like the sound goes straight into your helmet. I've ridden my bike in the parking lot at work without my helmet & it seems much quieter & almost respectable [laugh] I've also had buddies ride it & sounds nice to me.... just wish it was a little quiter with the helmet & earplugs [thumbsup]
True, thanks for chiming in. Yeah my buddy rode it around the twisties as we traded off and I rode is DRZ, I had a shi7eating grin on the whole time listening to the bike. It sounded un fkingbeleivable. Maybe youre right because when I'm riding it it sounds like a damn dragster, but when it rides by me it definately sounds different, maybe I'll experiment a lil with the baffles. He cut the entire end cap off the baffle??????

Yep........ I think I'd start with some holes & see how it sounds...... you could even try running just one.... maybe on the bottom can as it seems to flow more than the top can due to the crossover point & the path of leats resistance.
To me chopping the end of is almost the same as no baffle so I'd rather have it quieter & then when I want to be obnoxious I'd just pull the baffles out as it's so easy on the Arrow's [thumbsup]
45mm on the Termi slip-ons. Definitely experiment with drilling your baffles first. [thumbsup]
I'd mod the baffles.
I'd say try leaving in just one, I'd considered doing that until I realized what an upgrade I am compared to the previous crackhead tenants! I'm just noisey! They can live with that!
