Due to our tiny wheels, for those roll'n deep on the 4.5", track tires can be a bummer to get. I did just that, and currently am sporting a D208 front D209 rear. They have 1.5 trackdays on them at RFR. I don't want to run them on the street, so if you plan on taking your bike to the track this up coming season these would be a good addition. A nice set of DOT race tires can help you prevent an incident when you make a mistake and ride a bit above your ability at the track. They stuck like glue and helped me get sub 3:00's at RFR on my 60hp monster.
I know some people love them on the street, but I wouldn't suggest it, from what I've heard it takes to much to get them warm on the street. [leo]
I'd have to go through my expenses last season to see how much they cost me, but I believe it was over 3.5 benjies... but make me an offer. I don't want to ship though, locals only. [coffee]
