The visor is a vinyl decal that can be done for what looks like only $30! I emailed the vendor.

nope.  [roll]

come on man!! Of course you can lol. its acutally a bunch of tiny dots (a couple thousand actually) so when you put it to your face you just see a shaded view. from far away it looks like a solid pic.
The graphic is an overlay and ill get back with the guy and see how it works. I think you just lay it on your lens and trim it to size.

Once i get quote, ill post up on the intrest, submit the graphic, and get it done. this thing is funny as hell!

Alright, got the email back, We can get a wholesale discount if we buy more than 20.

The one time setup fee is only $10. The shield stickers are only $16.95! The way i look at it, if we get 20 people, it wouldnt cost more than $19 bucks. ($16.95 with a possible discount, .50 cents for the setup fee, and a $1 for postage+envelope to ship it to you guys)

They have 1 general shape and they can make it larger or smaller. I asked her if we can have a bulk order with various sizes under 1 setup fee...still waiting on the reply.

I will be working on one, but any PS guru is welcomed to make one up as well since you have a better eye for this kind of stuff.
You can download the template from www.skullskins.net under create a skin >> sheild skin! This is the coolest thing ever!

I believe both MrIncredible and He Man is correct. MrIncredible have the formal spelling where as He Man have the Urban Dictionary's spelling. See here: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=fallace I hope MrIncredible doesn't mean this definition when referring to He Man's post.

the manufacture states that it may decrease vision by 5%. Ofcourse buyer beware in this case. I guess you can buy it, tape it to your visor and see how you like it before you apply it.

I had a skullskin visor screen on one of my visors a few years ago.   Vision wasn't a big deal during the day...you could look through it pretty easily and not be distracted.   But it was one extra little thing no matter how small, so heavy traffic, new rider, night, etc. might not be the best idea.

After a season of fun with lots of attention from car drivers it was full enough of bugs and not worth the cleaning (it's a mesh).

a lego one would be great for a group event.

Also, I know it doesn't look exactly like the artist's original, but it looks closer to the real lego man I think:

I had a skull skins decal on my helmet with a stock clear visor and in the daytime you will see tiny dots when looking through that's not to bad but I would say it blocks a bit more than 5%.
The real problem was when it started raining I had to open the visor to see. And if a decent size bug hit it the chunky chow would get stuck in all of the little holes. So I trimmed mine so it wouldn't block my vision and slapped it on an iridium screen, don't get me wrong they look sweet and you will get allot of looks and thumbs up everywhere but I only have 1 helmet and it just wasn't safe at night or in the rain. If you got a spare helmet I say go for it. Just my .02

I have the pic ready to go, i dont have wifi on my computer at the moment, so im using a school comp right now... but once i get home, i will upload and show you guys the down and dirty. (it basically looks exactly like the one posted with the biggest smile, just reentered and in PSD format).

if i dont get any complaints of it looking all weird and off centered,  Im gonna proceed to get an official head count, and submit it for final pricing (the manufacturer has offered wholesale discount once we go over 20 people, and from the looks of it, we have over 30 orders!).

Now a big question is, would you guys perfer to have the company ship each one out individually? My guess is that this will cost more (ever get pissed of you pay 8.95 shipping for a 1.99 item? this is one of thsoe cases, i dont know the actual shipping costs per person, i am waiting on an email back from them regarding that issue). Alternatively, i can just reship them out to people for much less  via first class mail (42cent+ shipping tube).

Once i know the individual mailing cost, ill let you guys know. it may not be that bad at all. Any question or suggestions post up! This is my first time organizing a group buy!

Imagine a big group ride with everyone wearing them.  [laugh]

Best.
