Title: Ducati Zweibrucken (MotoMittroch) Germany
Post by: Raux on February 07, 2009, 07:56:24 AM
Well took another trip to the other local Ducati shop. Nice shop. Got to hear the new M1100S with full termi system, CF exhausts no db-killers. I swear i jumped when it started. WOAH. that sounds soooo nice. thumpthumpthumpthump...

they had a few nice used bikes too. was there a 748s Senna Edition put out? cause i swear there was one there. Nice titanium silver with red wheels and trim. Also got to sit on the SC 1100 Sport edition. wow, what a stretch to the bars. the more i sit on different bikes, i really appreciate the ergos of the Monster.

they had a couple of things on sale, i wanted to pick up the shorty pazzo levers but they are like 50 bucks more there. dang.

definitely a cool little shop though.

Any temptation to have walked out with the M1100?  Go in the shop for Pazzos and come out with a new Monster  [evil]

already been told by my dealer friend to sell the 696 and get the 1100 that i would be astounded as he is on the bike.

BUT ALAS i have promised my love to get her BMW before i do anything else.

Or you could give her the 696 and take the 1100 for yourself.  ;D

I believe that was a Senna you saw.

I also heard the full termis on a M1100S (not sure if the db-killers were removed), but it sounded so nice! When the dealer started it, all I remember hearing was a BOOM, then the deep resonating sound that followed. Pure music. One day...

Things come late to Raleigh, NC.

My dealer finally got an M1100 -- white with Ohlins.

No doubt, it is a beautiful bike, and I would happily own one.   [thumbsup]   [moto]

IMO, the fit and finish is superior to the previous Monsters.

True, the headlight is funky (and easily replaced) and I prefer a "full trellis" to the aluminium subframe, but all-in-all the M1100 is a very nice bike.

there was a i think a 03 748s not senna silver and red not grey I was looking to buy one but it became to much of a PITA to track one down.

on a side note i heard from my hommies in the 263 Falshm Jager  that they have an outstanding local double bock in Zweibrucken.......
