My name is Jonathan, I live in Maine (between MDI / Orono) and I have been riding an 05 S2R (yellow) for a couple years now. I posted something very similar to this on the general introduction forum, but since I live in Maine I thought it would be appropriate to post on here as well.
I registered on this forum back when the DML turned into a big mess, but I didn't start posting because it was getting warm and I spent all of my free time riding. Needless to say, I forgot to check back here until recently because I am dying to go riding again. I normally go skiing at sugarloaf on the weekends (hooray for college season passes), but since I'm sick and not skiing today I thought I might as well introduce myself on here.
I'm studying Mechanical Engineering and have an interest in manufacturing. At work I primarily program, set up, and run CNC lathes and milling machines, but I also deal with stuff like manual lathes and mills, surface grinders, tig/mig welders, design, fabrication, heat treating, yada yada...
If you're wondering where the screen name came from, it's from one of those Bond movies with Connery (I think...)
Hopefully this introduction wasn't too boring ... I look forward to making some more posts in the future :)
Welcome, again. You're not missing any skiing today, the wind is blowing a gale and I'm sure everything is on wind hold. Too bad, it's about 42 today.
hello & welcome again jonathan :)

Well at least it's not a beautiful day over there either. Do you live in western Maine? rte 27 looks like a road that might be pretty decent once all of the snow melts
27 is pretty good, especially north of Eustis to the Canadian border
Excellent, I'll have to check that out this year
Lemme know when [thumbsup]
