Saw this bike today while out tooling around. It's a Yamaha Warrior. Big displacement, I think it's almost 1800cc.

Didn't get to hear it run though...
:-X [puke]
It was a warrior at one point. I like it but I would want something like this with rear foot controls. No less confortable laying on it versus folded in two on it...and more drag bike-ish.
I like this one.
How in the world does one ride that thing? It's lowered, has forward controls and what looks like clip-ons? Your hands would pretty much touch the tops of your feet in turns. I expected that it would have ergos more like a drag bike.
Edit: Weird--I think Statler and I must share a brain. [laugh]

Two half-wits? ;D
I keed, I keed
And yes, it looks rather UN comfortable
I can't see what it would be worth getting rid of that I now have to get that thing. It doesn't look like much of a fast twistie carver and I think my " R " gives me enough straight line thrills and chills.
Do admit I haven't seen one before . It might be fun to ride somewhere ? Dolph :)
Its GOTTA be a straightliner... no way could that thing turn...
And its turbocharged......
still ugly [puke]
They took the worst of two motorcycle categories - choppers and sport bikes - and made one monstrosity out of them.
I hope he has fun scrubbing chain lube off his back...

That is freakin' hilarious. Would love to sneak one of those on any one of the import boy racer cars....

I think it's a combination blow off and tire bark.
The controls definitely need some adjusting, but I've always liked the tanks on the warrior. They're very sleek and flow into the rest of the bike well. Nice bike, but I'd have gone a different route.

have you seen a stock yamaha/roadstar warrior?

it just lost it's ass and ears, and gained a turbo and a big rear wheel.

I think he has an exhaust leak ;D
I still don't see the appeal of the stretch rear end. Everyone knows you're not drag racing so it just looks stupid and kills your handling. It's like a ricer putting a shift light on a Civic. [roll]
More like a dragster, not for me [puke]
hubby's got a Warrior, and it's a sexy bike. He carves roads, took it to track day, sounds great too. Don't like that 'cannon' exhaust on the original.
handles well for a 600+ pound bike.
The Warrior is on my "short list" of cruisers I would ride. Mean Streaks, V-Rods, Thruxtons & Speedmasters, Rune, V-Max are all on that list. That being said, I'd prefer a stocker to that custom version ~

+1. someone 'picasso'ed a great bike [laugh]
