Jukie would you post some pictures of your Sato rear sets, and could you get a close up of your brake side please. Did you and or Betty fit them or did you get your mechanic to fit them? thanks in advance.

Just got in front of me Jukie..... Your just tooooo quick..... ;D
sorry Trev i beat you to it
... and to answer his question ...
They were installed with the exhausts ... those sexy stainless brackets were custom made to suit, so it was all done at the same time (not by us).
I certainly didn't install them but Jukie has fiddled with the setup since, but more on the gear-change side I think.
Thanks for your help Jukie, Betty and Trev, just one more thing, is that a pressure switch on top of your brake slave cylinder, the reason I ask is I bought a set of Lucas adjustable rear sets. To hook up the brake light I have a pressure switch instead of using the original system. If you have a pressure switch I was wondering how you /your mechanic hooked it up.
Don
Hey Don
i have no idea but the brake lights work so, im assuming it must have been the mechanic that did it. Sorry im not much help. iam a girl after all. [roll]
If its a pressure switch its an easy deal !! ;D
Usually you just have to get 2 terminals for the switch, (usually standard auto spade types)
and either get a compatible connector for the original loom, or just cut the wires and connect a terminal to each one and then push a wired connector onto each terminal of the pressure switch and away you go! [thumbsup]
But its dead simple just to use your original, just find a place to anchor the small return spring to the brake pedal. ;)
Off the top of your head would you know if the original connector used is a part I should be able to get from a auto electrician, or would I need to go either to a wrecker or someone like Fraser's.

99% of the pressure switches that I have seen have the standard size push on auto spade terminals, available pretty well anywhere. SuperCheap, Repco, Autopro. [thumbsup]

Carbonworld in Germany - had a very good experience with them. The prices on their website usually includes a VAT (18-19%?) which is not applicable to us. Postage is cheap because everything is so light, but the exchange rate is not doing us any favours at the moment.
Thanks Betty ;)
It looks like Jukie's rearsets are adjustable? The triangular piece the footpeg comes off looks like it can be moved around. ??
Where do the pegs sit in relation to the stock pegs?

Ive got them on and did a track day with them last Friday, they work fine but need a little adjusting, I can get you photo's of the rear sets mounted, but I have no idea on how to post them.
The biggest problem I had was bleeding the rear brake, and I still don't have the brake light working yet.
Don
cool,
that rear brake is a prick to bleed!
i'd like to see em.
if you want to send me the pic/s i'll post em up for ya

looks good Don...
Can I suggest you get them anodized.. they will handle the elements better and last longer. If you like the raw ally look you can get em clear anodized, you dont have to get a color.
I went for black... 8) cost was about 70$. I pushed out the bronze bearing before I did it, wasn't a big deal at all...

Sometimes taking the caliper off and raising to a much higher level than the master cylinder will assist in getting the air to the "little bleeder" ;).
Dont forget to wedge something in between the pads so the caliper pistons dont pop out. [thumbsup]
Thanks for the info, I have the rear brake working a treat, better than it has ever worked.
