I like the design but a 3/4 helmet? Really? ???
American cagers are a real threat. Motorcycles are a common in europe, im sure the accient rate is so much lower, most people are fine with 3/4s.
But 220euro for a windproof jacket? Jeez. thats close to 500USD aint it? :( looks nice though.

220 Euro = 340 USD
Still expensive for a windbreaker.
Is the silhouette a 696?
I think the whole line is focused on the 696 launch so could very well be the 696 sillouhetted.
yeah its the 696, you can tell by the fruity exhaust on the bike, the long sleeve shirt has a close up image of the bike graphic.....
meh
I ordered the sweater back in March.
Got it yesterday. It is nice. All cotton, light to mid weight. Will be nice for cool summer evenings.
You might want to check our SaltLake Motor Sports. Alison generally carries alot of Ducati Apparel.

I always wear a 3/4 for farting around in the city (slow farting...) smelling roses etc. and yes, in europe they are very common, like good beer.
i only put the full-face on if its cold, raining or i am exceeding 40mph for more than 10 seconds. always on the highway of course
I can understand that. Especially with my glasses, there have been plenty of times when a 3/4 would have been appreciated in town. I tend to forget that the monster is, at it's base, a city bike of sorts.
hate it just like I do the 696, ugly

What 3/4 do you recommend?
i have an inexpensive (but SNELL + DOT rated) HJC AC-3. fits nicely, has an interchangeable flip-up shield and sun-visor. It comes a little further forward along the jaw than some i used to wear in the past.
Local dealer had those items in stock. Although they look nice, they are very pricey. $110 for a hooded sweater and $45 for a t-shirt is way too overpriced. I saw the helmet too and tried them on, needless to say, they are useless and overpriced.
have you ever seen the face of someone who wore a 3/4 helmet after an accident?! if you have a strong stomach you can find pics online but i do not understand why anyone would wear one! wear glasses? buy a flip-up.
i do not care what the monster apparel looks like (i personally think the leather jackets look pretty nice) but it does not look like it comes with armor. am i right? pockets for armor? i certainly would not spend that sort of money for something without armor.
my 2cents
I am considering buying a 3/4 for those 100 degree 100% humidity days... either that or I won' ride.. it is that bad with a full face ... lik having a HEAD SAUNA!! [bang]

I'm not 100% positive but I think the leather jacket has some armor in it. I was fiddling with a jacket at my local dealer two weeks ago and I'm pretty sure it was the Monster one.
I have to join the too ugly to expensive club with respect to this line of clothing.
But, for me that is nothing new. I have been completely put off by the whole Ducati logo marketing thing. It's all ugly and expensive.
Tommy T.
i bought the white monster leather jacket size 46 for her
a couple weeks ago from my local dealer,
i can tell you it has ZERO armor in it...
buttery soft leather though, and plenty thick....
fine for mellow around-town riding....
and MAN is it sharp looking....!!!!
