Hi, all
Seth
People's Republic of Connecticut
I've been riding since I was 7, let's see, that would make it...25 years :o
Newest member of the family 2008 S2R 1000, black (mainly the wife's bike, until she turns her back)
I poked around the site a bit before joining, you seem like my kind of lunatics!
I'm new too. [beer]
YAHOIDAME? [thumbsup]

Welcome. Any mods to the S2R yet?
Welcome Seth, hope your wife is enjoying her S2R when you give her a chance. ;) She's welcome here too if she likes, we have a very friendly women's forum (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?board=25.0).
Have fun! What other bikes do you have? [moto]
Welcome!!!!!
There are no bikes when there are no pics ;D
Thanks!
I'm working on the pics, the computer just ate itself and took everything with it >:(
No mods, yet. First up, I think pipes and a chip, and some really obnoxious driving lights to help the high beam. Gets dark up here in the woods.
Erin (my wife) has been corrupted! She used to talk about useless things like curtains and paint, now she says things like "You know, the titanium looks nice, but the carbon fiber would really bring out the character of the bike." I love it.
elehpantrider- I have a 1050, 6 speed. I'll update that in my profile. The Tiger and the S2R are very close in performance as far power to weight. On smooth roads, the Duc has the advantage in handling, busted up back roads, the Tiger takes it. I'm 6'4", so the Monster is a bit cramped for the legs, but I just find a set of twisties and forget all about it. Have to wait to find out how it is on top, too much sand on the roads.
Other bikes:
1988 BMW R100RT- twin plug, RS cam and valves, shaved heads, Dell'orto pumpers, "off road state of tune"
2003 BMW F650CS- Erin's first bike
1979 Suzuki GS750N
1979 Suzuki GS550
2 1979 Yamaha XS650s (for sale)
Triumph bitsa (bitsa this, bitsa that...) mostly TR6C
Sold everything else...
