Title: Anybody need a mystery bracket?
Post by: raulduke on May 14, 2008, 11:23:00 PM
I love this EBay auction...2006 Monster mystery bracket

"I dunno what it is...you wanna buy it?"

"btw, my shipping rates have skyrocketed"

That is exactly what I was thinking, something to hold the very important flux capacitor...   [cheeky] [cheeky]

Looks heavy.

I think it's a metric underseat high mount kickstand bracket support.

Fools, it's the quantum fusion generator bracket, without proper mounting the QFG will be susceptible to vibration and throw the valves out of adjustment and make the belts snap, not to mention cause all kinds of electrical gremlins. Removing or modifying the QFG is the number two cause of Ducati unreliability, second only to saying to yourself "hey, the bike has been running pretty good lately."

You all are obviously unfamiliar with the EURO style upper cranial damping regulator bracket. It's 30% heavier than the north american version, but operates 300x faster.
