Just wondering if anyone has spotted a tail chop kit (besides the DP kit) for the M1100.
shouldn't all the 696 chops work? Competition werkes, DP, tidy tail etc etc???
No they do not work. There is a solenoid valve that modulates backpressure under the seat where the competition werkes tail chop relocates the lock. It is just a hole in the seat subframe on the 696.
compwerkes is working on an updated version for the m1100.
call and bug em ;D
I'll be calling shortly. I like the competition werkes kits the best, so I was hoping they would be coming out with one.
anyone look at the R&G? I don't believe it relocates the lock. I'll know once mine comes in. Anyone who has it want to comment?
The only way you can get the M696 competition werkes kit to work is to get full termis. No more solenoid valve to worry about! But that is the expensive option. [roll]

Just thought I would let all the M1100 owners know that Competition Werkes will have the M1100 tail chop available for purchase next Friday. I spoke with them on the phone yesterday.
