I'm OK. Bike is still rideable, but there's some cosmetic damage.

Glad you're ok,,, bikes can be fixed.

Yeah, PLEASE tell me the parents offered to take care of the damage. Throwing something at a vehicle is a malicious act and the parents are responsible for any damage caused by that act...
Glad to hear you're ok!

They didn't offer. But they're not doing too well financially. They've got kids, and I'm doing alright even in this economy. I'm not going to push it.
Thanks for thinking of me though! :)
Tak! Glad you're OK. We're planning a ride soon, trying to register my bike this week, and take it out. Scars make for great story telling. I got a few too.

First, I'd like to thank everyone for being awesome... great group of people here, and I'm really glad that I've found this place.
Sorry for taking so long with the photos, but my camera's been loaned out to a friend for a while... here's is the damage:

Well, it doesn't look to be that bad. You lucked out. Especially with the tank skins...

Yeah. doesn't look too bad at all. I guess that's the advantage of having plastic skins instead of a metal tank.
Glad to hear ur alright and welcome to the club....
The good news is - you can start to mod ur bike.
Put an Arrow pipe on there with swet rear sets and keep the pregnant doged up bar ends for track days. [thumbsup]
Take it slow in the mean time.

You can fix the damage on the exhaust cans. I had some that I bought off ebay that were damaged more and I made them look perfect. Also you could fix the tank skin damage by doing some fiberglass. I would hold on to those.
