Title: Brief introduction
Post by: ada722 on March 27, 2009, 12:49:14 PM
Hi everyone!! My name is Anthony and I'm from Silverlake, CA.  I've been riding for 2 years... started off on an '02 620 Dark

Taken on Mulholland Dr - Rock Store heading to Latigo

620 was totalled in Aug '08 on Latigo.  New rider crossed the double yellow coming out of a turn as I was going in.  We hit head on, but fortunately no one was injured.

I finally replaced my old Monster with an '09 696!!

Thanks!

NICE! I like the pearl white 696. Unfortunately, it is the slower color hahaha. Everyone knows that the red one is the fastest!

Always better to look slower than you are. [thumbsup]

Sleeper_I... i'm really satisfied with the lower seat.  Side-by-side with the stock seat - the lower seat is almost an inch lower, it doesn't slope towards the tank like the stocker, has a faux suede material (only for the pilot) that prevents one from sliding around and it's more comfortable.  However, I don't think it's given me that "almost an inch" reduction in ride height but just enough for me to be comfortable at stops and backing into parking spaces.
