Title: New Ozzie Member - S4R
Post by: Serious Groper on March 30, 2009, 08:07:08 PM
Hi Guys,
I've just purchased my first Ducati which is a brand new S4R. So far it's been a fantastic bike to ride and the sound is as mean as they come.

It's for daily commuting and weekend fun so i expect to become and expert in just how much hammering these bikes can take.  So far i've done 1,400km in 1 1/2 weeks, the only issue has been the bike stalling 3 times. Not sure why but i'll keep an eye on it.

Termi pipes were installed after this pic but my camera battery is flat so new pics will have to wait.

I'm a fan of the Italian bikes, I like the idea of having something different. The below is a pic of my MV and my wife's Aprilia. The F4 was to race focused and i never had the time to ride it like it was designed to be ridden. I recently sold it with the intent to buy something more appropriate and so now it makes way for the S4R.

Welcome and congrats on the S4R, looking great. [thumbsup]

Don't forget to check in with Oz Monsters (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?board=52.0) and say hi.

If that stalling continues, you might want to check in Tech (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?board=4.0) and see if anyone has some ideas.

Have fun! [moto]
