Title: WTF Happened to DML?
Post by: Recidivist on April 01, 2009, 11:25:06 AM
Sold off my M1000S a couple of years ago and haven't looked in on the DML till I decided to clean out the few Ducati parts I had left around.  Went searching for my old username or old posts to no avail. [bang]

Anyways, Had a 2003 M1000S with all the usual choice mods.  Staintunes, PC3, DP airbox/filter, Ohlins shock, Racetech forks, Corbin & Saregent seat (prefered Corbin).  Had Ducshop do a nice dyno tune and fork work which was money very well spent, and spent a bit of $$$ with Chris Kelly.
I Loved the bike but needed to slow down even more, so I sold it to a friend and bought a DRZ400S, which has now been replaced by a DRZ400SM  [thumbsup].

I honestly loved the Ducati and think another one is in the cards some day, but right now I am jobless and need to sell off some of my unused parts I have laying around.  Wished DML hadn't gone to shite cause now I have to reestablish cred.

But I will say Ducpainter's  "How did we get here" post in the FAQ section let me know I found the right place [thumbsup]

Oh about bikes and whatnot.
>65 bikes (yeah I know I had a bit of a problem in my younger days)
@30 years riding
>500,000 Miles and going strong
Had Ducati 350 (basterdized to Cafe, forget model), 160,  Cagiva Allazzurra, 03 Monster 1000S

The DML was bought by Canadians.  They make the beast with two backsed it up.  We're all here now, happy as clams and silly as ever.

Welcome home.  [thumbsup]
