We should plan to go on the Oct. ride! Any of you guys "members"?
http://www.slimeycrudrun.com/
never done it before. It seems like an honest group of bikers. One of the few WI rides that are not domenated by HD (so I've heard).
I hear that Peter Egan is a member. Be cool to meet him IRL
i would definatly be in to do this ride this year, im bummed i missed last fall and this spring.
I was planning on doing the May one but I was a day late :'(

I'm up for the May one. Goodolboy will be coming if he can pedal his daughters bike fast enough [laugh]
Just putting the date up Sunday, May 3rd, 2009.

Sounds good, I'm def in for it still.

Beck - you know you're down!
That ride back from Sal's killed me. I can't move from my couch. I guess that's what happens after two slices, two knots, and a soda... (and inverted city bars after 115 miles). I'm dying over here, I need to get real clipons put on.

I'm still in for sure, but my buddy Jeff with the Buell is going to be turkey hunting (lame) that weekend. Still trying to talk him out of it though. We need to work up a Milwaukee and out route. Anyone else still planning on it. Or a better question... are there still any other COWS here?
this section is a dead issue lol
I'll let you know whats up with me, i got teh bike in the dealer getting a tune and exhaust [moto]
What kind of exhaust are you getting?

yea they actually had one in stock for my model year, they gave me $475 off the price
cant waitttttttttttttttttttttt to hear it tomorrow
Beck.... super jealous! You'll be setting off all sorts of car alarms. It's supposed to suck (weather wise) all weekend, next week I'll be in training for my new job (yay), so I'm not going to be around much. We definitely need to hit up the road sometime soon though.

yea 100% we have all summer, wanna do a trip to chicago or something
new 057 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yTNPoz88PDQ#lq-lq2-hq-vhq)
most definitly Chicago run. we should set something up with MOCHA or Half Fast Chicago. JoeyCocks has a sick S4R and he's always down to ride. i'm going to be tied up all day tomorrow (anniversary, see she does take precident over Bella...sometimes) and i'm moving so May is going to be the next time I'm free. let me know.
If I can get up to speed with the new Duc by then, I am interested in attending that ride. I've got a 2000 750 coming as soon as the weather clears enough to go get it without getting soaked.
this all sounds great lets make it happen!
Well my maiden voyage on the new Monster was incredibly successful. I should have no problem being up to speed for the run. The difference between my old Nighthawk and this beauty in handling is astounding. Curves that were always a challenge and uncomfortable were effortless - what great fun! Looking forward to meeting you people there.
I have 4 guys heading up with me from chicago. Bikes include - M750, M696, 1971 R65, Honda Touring... anyone going out for drinks sat night in downtown madison?
I'm not going to make it, it seems I bit off more than I could chew with bike upgrades / repairs in the time allotted.
This is the latest I've ever not had my bike out [bang]
yea i have to work...

NICE!
It was quite a spectacle at both ends of the ride. I estimate there were close to 2000 bikes involved.
I made it to the crud run as well, from LaCrosse.
Lots of bikes, with even more harleys.
WarrenJ, did you happen to see a yellow monster similar to the one you posted, but with no front fender, clip ons and under engine exhaust? I wasn't parked far from the one you have pictured. [thumbsup]
I'm sure I did - sorry we did not get to meet! There is a pic of my 750 Monster on the Intro thread - it has a unique tank paint job. The ride was a good experience for me. It was the farthest I have ever went on a motorcycle, through new country and roads and numerous new situations. Making it through the trip without any major mishaps was a great confidence booster.
