UPDATE: Just got ahold of Ty and he indicated that the previous dates won't work. He is available on Sunday, Apr 19 though at MSR-Cresson. I have modified the title (and rates, since his rates are higher at MSRC since he has higher costs at MSRC).
Who's interested? If I find 1 more person, this is a go (wouldn't mind 3 others though).
His rates are at:
Cost:
2 rider MSR $375
3 rider MSR $335
4 rider MSR $320 (Maximum riders 4)
You will also have to pay $20/session to MSR (5 sessions typically, so $100)
---------What to expect:
1. 5-7 30 minute on track sessions with Ty.
2. 3 hours of classroom instruction with Ty.
3. 3 to 4 sessions of on track video for review.
4. Each session is individually tailored for the riders skill level and needs.
so $425?

I just changed the date and location. Depending on how many people we get, price ranges from $420-$475 total ($100 for track fees). Cap is 4 people maximum.
thanks. will think about it.

I have 2 spots left! Already have 1 person committed so this is a go!
Seems spendy to me... I recall it being much cheaper at ECR? I'd prefer to run there anyway. Keep us posted-
Thanks ;D

ECR is $60-75 cheaper per person. I'm sure I'll be doing an ECR version in a few months.
Ty's a great dude....he rides our bike! His race bike is our frame and motor. We've been sponsoring him for the past couple of years. If you haven't had a chance to meet him...super great guy and VERY down to earth. I'd love to make this session, but $$'s tight at the moment. Maybe at ECR if there's one coming up.

That's cool, what kinda business is it? Do you own an Aprilia Dealership? I thought he was a factory rider.

UPDATE:
I have 1 more spot available for Sunday, 4/19. There are 3 people currently committed to do this on 4/19.
We may be moving this to ECR since it is open that day (and it is a little cheaper to do it there).
Let me know if you want to fill the last spot!

tres perros - didn't understand your reply...were you interested in the last spot?
I will confirm location in a few days (right now, we're looking at MSR-Cresson unless ECR opens up).

I am very interested. In fact, sign me up if it is on the 19th (I can't do April 30th). I don't have a lot of miles, but have done one track day with the AMS folks.
Hope Ty is a patient guy. :)
Hey CM - How do I get in touch with you or Ty to get signed up. Thanks
+1 on Ty being a great guy... very friendly and got a good sense of humor too.
As bad as my form was at ECR this past weekend, I need this... but definitely can't afford the $$$ for Cresson... If ECR is only 75 bucks.. i might be able to swing that one... if i could get clearance from the wife to go back to the track. As much of a fight as it was on the 11th i dunno though

ECR would be about $50 or so less...but it still would end up a little over $400.
Ha... i can't read for shit these days... 6-75 cheaper per person... I read it as 60-75 per person and I almost had ot go change my drawers i got so excited
Kevin - hope you had a fun day yesterday. I had a very good trackday and was able to make a 6 second improvement from the last time I was there...Of course, I am still a long way from where I need to be, so improvement is still quick.
It is good to see the monster out there and your riding improved quite a bit during the day. I hope to see you at future track events!
I'll be at Eagles Canyon this coming weekend (probably on Sunday, 4/26)
Later!
Carlo
Carlo, you are a machine! I had a blast. Ty was a great instructor and the whole day was very worthwhile.
Good to meet all of you guys and hope to do it again.
Sure was tired last night though.

Glad you had a great time and got home safe. Amazing how tiring the track is compared to street riding, huh?! I use it as my incentive to stay in shape (along with not wanting to change leathers...).
The last session was pretty good. Had a chance to do a little dicing with Bill as I worked on my passing...
