Zee and I saw this ingenious concoction somewhere in Sonoma County today:

$700 OBO. It even includes a tow bar, conveniently welded to the front axle, for when you burn up the rear tire.
I'm hazarding a guess that this isn't some early prototype of the Can-Am Spyder.
So that's where my gixer and dune buggy went :'(
Is that one of those "I just woke up after a 7 day bender of crack and gin and made some really weird sh*t with a welder" projects?
Let's see you wheelie that! [thumbsup]
Wut? :P
Looks like the result of a happy accident
Given the picture I wondered if it was a riding mower...?

I don't see even a passing resemblance :)
was this in england, oz, hong kong, india, japan, etc?
if not, the builder put the sidecar on the wrong side ... unless they want the passenger to take the hit when an oncoming car pulls over the double yellow [roll]

None of the above...it was Sonoma County. And it isn't a sidecar...it's a dune buggy front end welded to a GSXR 750 rear end. The steering wheel was on the left side.

man, i gotta get higher quality drugs ... NOW i see wtf that thing is configured to be. not a sidecar ... it's a front of a dune buggy, with a beater gsxr for powertrain.
it's gotta be worth $700, just for the "wtf" reactions one would get when driving it [roll]
Looks like a T-Rex turned train wreck.
You leave a dune buggy and a bike alone together long enough and eventually...
I still think they ought to rig up a blade underneath that thing and at least make it useful.
...or attach it to a blender, or make it amphibious.

Fixed it for ya!
Here's how it really came together.
Dude buys cool dune buggy project.
Gets it running.
Blows up motor.
Lets it sit for like....ever.
Buys GSXR.
Realizes he can't f*ckin' ride a little too late and plows into some Dodge.
Folds forks up in accident.
Doesn't have insurance to get GSXR fixed and not sure he wants too.
Gets drunk.
Gets high.
Starts doing lines off of hookers.
1/2 way gets sober.
Finds welder....
^^^^^^^^^^^
oh man... [laugh]
