Title: Gituron
Post by: uridelikeaknob on April 06, 2009, 08:06:31 PM
Hey, it's my first posting to this forum even though I've been registered for eight months or so.  Been riding cycles for a very lo-o-o-ng time.  Lusted after Ducatis since the stone ages.  The first ones rode very rough with the stone wheels and such.  Bought an MH900e, my first Ducati, off of eBay in 02, sold it in late 04 (change in address type of thing, if you get my drift).  Owning and riding an MH is kinda like having a red head for a girl friend.   They're great to look at, other guys envy you, but in the long run, they're rough on your body.  So you get rid of her, but eventually the bad memories fade and you think of all the good times.  Another one comes along and you get on for the second time, but things haven't changed and all the pain comes back again.  That's right, I bought a second MH.  After riding a couple of hundred miles in a day, my aging back needed a week to recoup.  The second love affair lasted about the same length of time as the first.  I sold it last fall and now I am Ducati-less.  :(

My current motorcycle collection has an international flair to it, Spanish, German, Russian, and Japanese, but alas, no Italian representation at this time.  I'm always on the lookout for something unique to ride.  I think the Foggy Monster is one of the sweetest bikes Ducati ever made, not counting the MH900e.  The other cool Ducati that I like is the Matrix edition 998.  Sweeett rides!

Well, that's about all I got to say about that!  I'm always looking for somebody to ride with, so look me up if you are ever in southern Colorado.
