Title: New Guy
Post by: WarrenJ on April 12, 2009, 07:32:53 PM
Howdy - What a tremendous collection of information.  I am 46, started riding last year.  Took a MSF class, purchased an '85 Honda Nighthawk last year and put 3500 miles on it.  If all goes well, I'll be the proud new owner of a 2000  750 Monster in a week or two.  There are miles and miles of good riding and no traffic here in rural Wisconsin.  I am looking forward to spending the summer learning this new Duc.

Take Care All

Pic's will be forthcoming when I receive the bike.  Don't want to jinks the transaction.  The bike is interesting.  It has a custom painted tank from Ducati.  I was told this is 1 of 99 of this series of tanks.  The tank was ordered directly from Ducati in Italy.  There were evidentally 5 different patterns by different artists, each making 99 tanks.   I'd like to find out more about this series of tanks.

My first impression on seeing the pictures of the tank was that it was something easily cured with a spraygun but after seeing the bike in person its sort of growing on me.   I am far mor interested in how the bike rides and handles than how it looks but if it looks great too..............!
