Thought I would post this on the DMF. I'm always curious how others treat their baby's and where they are stored after a ride... [moto]
My first DUC was a 996, and it was kept in the corner of my garage with 3 pieces of plywood and hinges. This was to keep the kids away. I found out that one of my boys decided to drop some bolts into my exhaust. The horror---that was a dark day indeed. [coffee]
Since then we decided to drywall the garage and the wife----God bless her soul, had them build me a mini Garage in my garage. Now, my baby's are under lock and key. [wine]
Pics please!!!!

Mine sleeps in the garage.
I would bring mine into the living room if I could fit it through the door! But for now, garage.
Garage for now...but the Man Castle should be done by the end of the summer. [thumbsup]

I have a little offshoot like asado has (where his boat is). That's where the Monster sleeps.
No pics yet. I'm still waiting on my parts to get back from powdercoat.
I'm sure that most of our garages don't compare to your batcave ICON. That's a sweet room for your Monster.

I thought about converting that space dedicated to the monster only but my side access is not wide enough to swallow my 26 footer.
I'm in NYC and park in a motorcycle-only garage. I'm not sure I am allowed to post a pic for security reasons since the garage is run like a club house
Laundry room [thumbsup]
That was funny Asado, "In the garage with my gf's watch dogs." Those dogs can be pretty mean.

When I had :'( my 620 it stayed in the barn, with the other ponies.
Thanks for bring this back up. my GF freaked out when i said the S4 was coming into the guess room when i got it. ( never did, but would have if i didnt wreck.)
At home...the garage.
At work, 8 foot chain link fence enclosure with razor wire around the top and a couple bad ass pad locks...bad neighborhood 8)
I keep mine in the house where the washer/drier is. [cheeky]
I live in an apartment building in a densely populated neighborhood. I was lucky enough to find one with a motorcycle garage. It's a single car garage with 7 bikes living in it -- 2 are mine, 3 belong to the building manager, and the other 2 belong to another tenant who is a writer for a local moto publication.
heated(in winter) garage, covered. only the best for "fausto".
I keep mine in my tiny one-car garage. It keeps her safe and clean, it makes my garage feel useful. I like to think of it not as a one-car, but a multi-bike garage, something that has not yet gained popularity amongst the wife demographic in my house.
Has anyone said "in my pants" yet?
In my pants. And my small, semi-useful multi-bike garage.
If i had my way they all would be in the living room. I would build a ramp to the front door and widened it some. But for now my Italian toys are kept in the garage [wine]

In the garage with the garden stuff. The cars stay outside.
Mine lives in the barn with the Vespa, the Z4, the X3, the tractor, the bats and mice, etc.
Mine sleeps in a nice spot in may garage with her cousin vespa...
bump ( Maybe if enought people say they keep the ducs indoors then the misses will let me too!) [thumbsup]

Nice wheels Magnum P.I. Sharp looking pair!
In my neighbor's garage -- right between his Kawi Concourse & his Norton Commando that i keep telling him needs to come out from under the plastic and get crackin' on that restoration -- and I'll help!
Cycle Shell I absolutely love it [thumbsup] [thumbsup] I would much rather have a garage but it's as close as I could get living in an apartment. www.cycleshell.com

Thanks ;D It's been through some pretty severe T-storms with no problems at all, it gets a little dusty in there would be my only complaint.
It looks like there are some bolts into the concrete... is it bolted down?
Under the carport, Wife doesn`t want it in my pub :'(

Yes it is bolted into the ground with some removeable concrete bolts (shhhhh don't tell the apartment complex [evil])

At least they have friends to keep them company over night..!! ;)
In the garage. I'm diggin that finished lockable "garage room" though. I may do that when we get a house with a bigger garage. Great idea.

in a very cluttered 30x70 garage proving that the more room you have, the more crap will accumulate
Funny thread! None over the mantlepiece yet? ;) Pretty cramped in here, 20' x 21' but not quite as bad as it looks in this snap!

Well they don't make Morgan's as skinny as they used to (wouldn't mind some details via PM if you don't mind).
Nice D90 Curmudgeon!

Roger that! My garage looks like crap. Clutter and boxes of who knows what everywhere. Haven't seen the top of my workbench in forever... for that matter not even the floor! [bang] I've got four bikes where the second car would go and the wife insists that her car take up the other half. If I ever want to do any work or ride prep on my bikes I have to move her car out.
I still dream of my other home and garage (ex wife got it [bang]), it had a big detached 3 car garage and we never put our cars in it! [thumbsup] It was just my bikes, work benches, drill press, roll away tool chests, etc... ahhh, maybe someday I will have another one just like it. The reason that marriage lasted as long as it did was because I spent most of my time in that detached garage! [laugh] [bacon]

You like Morgans? Sick puppy? ;) This is NAS 4.0 Litre Plus 8 #1 and you can see a couple more shots at the bottom of this link. Nice D90 Curmudgeon!
The NAS D-90 was a pet project for five of us after a trip to Spain in 1991. This was the car I always had in mind but first the President of LRNA had to get his 500 110's in 1993 before we could get on with it. Then, because of the existing tariff structure on 2-dr SUVs we had to take SV 90's stripped and build them up. Finally we got a tariff waver because this wagon seats six, so this one of mine was the first white station wagon in the U.S., #021/500. It was the vehicle I had in mind from the start. Full County Station Wagon spec but with full roll cage, alloys, larger All-Terrains and sway bars. Just took it up to Upperville to my Morgan mechanic last Wednesday to change the coolant to G-05 and change the brake and clutch fluid. Poor thing was overdue. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/lambroving/Miscellany/D-90/LUG_d90--1.jpg.html (http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/lambroving/Miscellany/D-90/LUG_d90--1.jpg.html)
I wouldn't mind a Morgan..
Extremely nice D-90 Curmudgeon.

We keep almost all of our bikes in the house. With the recent purchase of the Bimota, the blue/white GSXR-1100 has been kicked outside under the carport until I find some way to reorganize and get it back inside.
