Title: Michael's in Chapel Hill on Sundays
Post by: superjohn on April 18, 2009, 02:41:57 PM
Hey all,

Looks like Michael's (which is now called Olive Branch Cafe) is hosting the Biker Breakfast again on Sundays.

Looks like tomorrow will be nice in the morning if anyone else wants to head out there. I think I'll target 9:30 or 10am to get there, have a little breakfast, and coffee and check out the bikes.

Cole Park Plaza on Hwy 15-501 South of Chapel Hill

I checked ADVrider.com and it looks like there were a lot of bikes out last weekend.

Not a bad turnout today. Even balance of Harley's, BMW's, UJM's and Italian bikes. The Olive Branch Cafe is now offering breakfast, so hopefully more people will start showing.

I'm going to try and make it out there a few times a month when the weather's nice I think.

Looks like the weather is going to be awesome this week and on Sunday, I am going to try to ride up from Greensboro this Sunday 4/26 to check out some of the bikes.  [coffee] [clap]

I think I am going to try to get up there to check out the action also this weekend. I have not been there in awhile.

John, is the food any better?

I was talking to the tender at the Carolina brewery (in pittsboro) and he said he would be happy to show the race if it is on. Maybe go for a ride after the meet up and head to the brewery to watch the race somtime this season.

I didn't actually try the food this time, but sounds like a good plan.

I'm going to make an effort to move my weekend run to Saturday before dinner so I can make it to these.   [moto]

I am hoping to go this Sunday. Is there enough interest to meet at Barnett's?

Barnett's would be way out of my way so I'll meet you there if I go.
