Sorry if I put this on the wrong grid...
I just bought a CW Fender Eliminator Kit for the M696 and I just painted it. When I bought the spray paint, it was in the same section as the Enamel paints (high heat), and I didn't notice that the paint I bought is not enamel nor high heat resistant (besides I really liked the paint cause it adds texture). I bought: http://www.duplicolor.com/products/metallic.html (http://www.duplicolor.com/products/metallic.html). My question is will this spray paint be okay for the CW Fender Eliminator Kit? It's just that it's pretty close to the exhaust pipes and the sign on the bottle (as well as the specs: http://www.paintdocs.com/webmsds/webPDF.jsp?SITEID=DUPLI&prodno=MC100&doctype=MSDS&lang=E (http://www.paintdocs.com/webmsds/webPDF.jsp?SITEID=DUPLI&prodno=MC100&doctype=MSDS&lang=E)) says that it's highly flammable.
Is my worrying warranted? Or should I even worry about it?
Thanks in advance!!!!!

Don't worry about it.
A fender rarely gets hot. ;)
pffuihhh... thx!!! I was going to sand it down and repainted, but I now I don't have too... I really like the textured coating...
thx again!!!! [bow_down]
I also think they meant flammable when spraying, as opposed to after its dried and cured.
I painted mine with the stuff you use to spray BBQ pits with. It's a nice flat finish but it scratches too easily. I should have used regular high temp spray paint.
