Title: Do you wear a Dainese leather pants?
Post by: nfwb11 on April 30, 2009, 09:36:04 AM
If so, what boots are you wearing?  I'm thinking about the SIDI Vertigo or maybe the Dainese Torque-out.  But, since I can't try and on at my local dealership, I'm wondering if I'm going to have trouble tucking the legs into the boots b/c of the padded shin guard that goes all the way down to the ankle.  Any help is appreciated...

It's not a 1 piece but I just bought the SF pants and wear the Sidi Vertigo Corsas. The pants fit inside the boots fine, but the boots push the lower leg part up a bit. Result for me is that the knee of the pants stick out a bit above my knee. I do have rather short legs and Dainese doesn't make a short version of the pants in size 48, which in my case would eliminate this problem. This may not be a problem for you. I just decided to wear the pants out of the boot.

Another small issue I have wearing the pants inside the boot is that the zipper bothers me a bit when wearing the pants inside the boot. Not much but just enough to be noticed.

Hope this helps

I have Delta pants and vertigo corsas, I've only worn the pants once and only purchased them because I got a smokin' deal on them. If I had to do it over again I would buy the torque-in boots and wear the pants on the outside. I noticed the newer Dainese suits are shifting to the pants / legs cut to be worn on the outside of the boot for comfort.
With me I have a smaller calf, so extra material of the leather pants folded into the boot gets somewhat irritating and also with me the thick padding pulls up out of the boot. I've read on the Dainese web site that the pants-to-boot attachment is for comfort.
My usual riding outfit are my Rev'it mistal mesh pants  outside of my vertigo corsa or strada air boots.

I've got the Dainese pants and the SIDI boots and it's very difficult getting the boot zipped.  Once it's zipped, the leg zippers dig into my legs - pretty painful.  When I have a chance, I'm going to try some Daytona boots to see if they help.

Great feedback so far, thanks.  I'd like to be able to wear the boots with the leg tucked in but seems like the SIDIs will make that difficult.  I'm thinking it may be easier with the Torque-out boots.

I've got the Dainese Firefly, Mekong and SF Perfed and I wear them all in my boots which are : Alpinestars' Racing S-MX Plus , also the Supertech .

I have BMW Racing Boots , Sidi B-2s, TCX Competizione RS, and Ducati Puma Desmo.

All the Dainese Leather pants mentioned above I wear inside all the Boots I have mentioned with no problem.          Dolph      :)
