Title: Disco Helmet
Post by: Spidey on May 01, 2009, 12:39:42 PM
Got a spare helmet lying around?  Need some gear to match the bell bottoms on your track leathers?  Feel like you're just not groovin' enough when you're in the twisties?  Live in a city full of freaks and having trouble standing out?   I have a solution . . .

Disco helmet

I grew up in SoCal.  I choose to live in NorCal.  The rain is an acceptable price of admission.  (http://www.sherv.net/cm/emo/funny/2/finger.gif)

I hear DuckStew is taking out an injunction preventing you from riding the M1000SS in that thing!

Folsom St Fair on The Blondes scooter seems more appropriate...  [evil]

Actually, now you've got me wondering where you can get those little 3/4" square mirrors they make mirror balls out of... I've got a spare helmet and a hot glue gun, all I need is the mirrors and a bottle of bourbon...

big (maybe _two_ bottles...)

Nope.  Whatever keeps my bike safe is fine with me.  Besides, it's not like he put that shizzle actually ON my uh... his bike.

I'm w/teddy on this one:  Love it!  Say, I wonder if I can get some fresh internal pads for my old Quantum-F and then rock the outside like this...or w/the disco ball mirrors...

Target fixation = bad

Seriously hope that doesn't happen. Don't think it will either but I could see someone rear ending the guy in front of them doing a double take a sparkle ball riding pass them.

Here ya go:  http://www.tapplastics.com/shop/product.php?pid=251&# (http://www.tapplastics.com/shop/product.php?pid=251&#)  (you want Style C)

1)  Put "Dancing Queen" on the stereo.  Crank to 11.
2)  Take spare helmet (or spare 996).
3)  Cut vinyl crap from TAP Plastics (go to your local store or order online see above) into non-symetical pieces.  You don't want the lines to show (it's just like panties   [cheeky]).
4)  Stick on helmet or your 996.  Use heat gun or blow dryer if necessary.
5)  Go out on the town to meet cute boys.

I know some people wrapped their drift cars with sparkle vinyl.
