Title: Puma Flat 2 V2
Post by: Binary on May 01, 2009, 03:55:27 PM
Just got my Puma Flat 2 V2 in from MotonekoParts.com (highly recommend w/fast shipping). I needed something for casual riding around town and the quality is excellent. Light, easy on and off and extremely comfortable. Great rear ankle support, hard toe protector and very firm sole platform. BTW, definitely get a size larger. The Puma’s are narrow and smaller.

Do you think you'd be able to wear these all day, at work or school?

I've had them on all day today. Pretty comfortable and breaths pretty well. So far so good. I'll get back to you in a few days. The temperature is around 60 degrees F in New York and raining today.

I have the old version Flat 2s and they seem to have better bridge-of-foot protection with the stiff leather strap and seem to be taller. I also have the Desmo old version and it has the accordion stuff over the bridge of the foot which seems to have less protection but more dexterity. Also the old Flat 2s are real leather w/ Gore-Tex and if the new Flat 2s are a short version of the Desmos as they seem to be they are made of some pleathery material. I like the old version better.
