Title: Tech Subject
Post by: bullethead on May 08, 2009, 03:05:48 PM
I am following up on a suggestion from BarneePhife. I need a laundry list of class subjects you guys want. That way we can have Staurt look it over group them together and we can start moving through them systematically. So lets hear it.

Wiring. I want to know what I need to buy to reroute wires (cut/splice/whatever). I hate the birdsnest under my tank.

Carburettor Tuning / Flatsides

Belts

Alton Brown cooked a stew on his motorcycle while riding down the road.  I would like to replicate this.

My 1098 already has a bun warmer, so I am half way there...

So I am fishing for more suggestions and interest in classes in the later half of July. We are still trying to keep subject mater similar in nature with enough subject matter to fill a four hour class and have a five person minimum with the cost at 50$.

Valves x 2
Wiring x 2
Carburetor Tuning / Flatsides / changing x 2
Belts
cook a stew
Cam Timing
Fork Seals/ suspension (kind of just did this one)

I know you just did the suspension class, but did you change fork oil? Seals? Cartridges?
That and I'd be interested in tunign Fuel Air mixture.
Trnasmission/gearbox.

I mght actually try to make this one. 7/18 would work best since I'll be Mini-racing the following weekend.
