So I'm in the process of finding a cheaper set of leather pants. After looking around I have found these.

I'm not gonna be bustin track days out every weekend but would like a pair of pants that are better than just jeans. Has anyone ever bought field sheer before? They seem good and for all intents and purposes they fit my price range and are what I'm looking for.
Any thoughts or first hand experiences?

I was riding with a guy a few weeks ago that went down at around 60mph in gravel and slid into a ditch with a two piece fieldsheer suit on and that thing took a beating. HIs right sleeve was worn through (he had a veeeeeery small amount of road rash where it wore through) but other than that the thing held up like a beast. It seems like the fit of his suit was a bit loose compared to similar A* or Dainese suits, but then again it's also a third of the price. I say any leather is better than no leather.
