Kay, I'm a Noob...shoot me. I have a small oil leak coming form the left side of the crank case.... looks like its coming from the timing sensor...any experience out there or suggestions on what to do? I'm broke, and this is my daily rider...2003 Duc Monster 620 with only 6000 miles on it? Should I worry? Here are some pretty bad pictures, I'll try for better ones this week. Thanks in advance!

Well, you're in luck
I've had this problem before and its not too bad to fix. Just be sure that its coming from the rpm sensor. A lot of times this can be attributed to the alternator cover gasket. You can buy and install a fiber gasket from CA cycleworks to solve this issue if it is the alternator cover gasket. You will have to scrape off all the old ducatibond rubber crap off both sides and re-shim the sensor but its worth doing.
If it is only the sensor, you can buy a new neoprene o-ring from your local ducati dealer for 2 bucks. Use a pair of needle nose pliers and a skinny screwdriver to pull the old one out. You will see the o-ring when you pull out the sensor.
Good luck.
Hey forgot to say thanks...quick fix, and not a drop has leaked since then!
No problem.
If it starts leaking again go with a S2R1000 neoprene ring. For some reason they are a tad thicker and hence provide a tighter seal.
