FYI - Rockwell Cycles is having demo rides for the Streetfighter and the 3D this Friday and Saturday (May 22 & 23). I'm thinking about heading up on Friday morning if anyone wants to join me.
I`d like to take the Tesi out for a spin.
I would love to test ride the streetfighter but its memorial day weekend, i'll be a bit busy

definitely go for it if you can make it.
The Tesi is quite a fun bike. I test rode it about a few weeks back on the newly paved twisty between Perkins Point entrance and Bear Mountain Inn circle, it sure was a blast. It has the Duc 1100 cc air-cooled engine and to me, it's a slightly rough compared to the liquid 998cc liquid-cool testastretta engine. Nonetheless, the power is definitely there in the upper rpm. Handling is tight and rear shock is a bit stiff.
The moto design is surely a head-turner !

Showed up there for about 15-20 mins, decent amount of people, free cookies and beer. Watched the "unveiling" of the streetfighter, it isn't a bad looking bike in person. They fired it up and did a few burnouts in the showroom. Then I got bored and went back out riding with no destination in mind per usual.
I just wanted to let everyone know what a great event this was up at Rockwell's Saturday.
I went up about 10am and there were allready quite a few people and really nice bikes there, including a Desmosedici and a KTM LRC8.
The staff there was great. A big thanks to Marian, Nick,Will and the gang for making us feel at home, feeding us yummy vittles and letting us ride some incredible bikes.
The highlight of the day for me was a nice ride on a Bimota Tesi 3D. It was without a doubt the nicest bike I have ever thrown a leg over and it was a blast to ride. Now I know where the first 40k of my lottery winnings are going to go...
I can't thank the whole staff up there and I give them 2 thumbs up for a job really well done.
I hope there were some other DMF members that got a chance to check out the event and Im looking forward to the cafe finally opening so we can do Sunday morning coffe runs up there.

What was the handling like on the Bimota compared to standard forks?
