Congrats bro'! Just be glad you aren't an unemployed mid 50's year old white guy who doesn't speak Spanish and doesn't have a high tech degree. :P I'd rather play soccer in a mine field. :P Hey, anything is good in this market. Wanna see what my self employed insurance premiums are? Hell, I'll work for just benefits! Seriously...
Thanks B :) Just gotta start puttin away a bit at a time now for that new (most likely used) bike...................
Congrats. Can't wait to see you on two wheels.
A job and a bike. What could be better? [thumbsup] Hope you save the coin sooner than later!

I hear good things about Fila bikes for sale
fila bikes eh? as in the one that I sold to el matador?
I saw you PM'd lawbreaker about his 996SPS. I'm sure it's a very nice example and I would never detract from someones efforts to sell their bike but you should very seriously consider making any offers on any SPS... 916 or 996. They are very temperamental and can be really fussy... read that as: pain is the ass and expensive! I know mine had high performance engine mods by the previous owner and that is why it only has 2500kms on the clock. It's unrideable on the street. But I have talked/emailed with plenty of other SPS owners with stock motors and we all have similar complaints. The only person I don't recall pregnant doging about their bike is cdc/Charles. Maybe he just keeps it to himself.
My two cents is stick with a non SPS/R Tamburini. Just saying.

+1 on that... Ask Randy. SPS aren't designed to run on pump gas!

Huh? Thanks but I am hopeless. I have enough trouble with English. Hey, I can order the #2 off the menu... that counts right? [laugh]
believe it or not Brian, this language is older than you..... :P
Rich, sounds kind of like the popping on that bike right? [evil]
yeah....I'm staying away from the SPS....even though it's a poop hot bike, esp. with what he's got on it. drool. Oh well, more shopping, plenty of riding time left because we all know Texas really has year round riding ;) Even when I do get a bike, I'm still not going anywhere without gear. Need leathers/gloves/boots...
On a completely different note, after two days of selling furniture, I've sold $2500 of furniture...it's a start!
This is a furniture thread?!?!? :P ;D

when you hit your quota inside of three months for the year get another contract on commissions. trust me, they will always change it at years end if you're making too much.
Hum....that's something I'll have to check into. Our store runs on a monthly quota, not a yearly, and if you fail to meet it they can dismiss you at any time for it unless you make it up in the next month. Minimum quota for our store is $30K in a month.
My contract is an hourly draw against a commission.....i.e. if i make $4000 in a month for commission sales, and I make a $2000 "draw" or "hourly pay" salary in a month, I get a $2000 check for commission because they consider my draw pay as an "advance" on my commission check.
good luck. draws can be tricky :o
buy a 1098R dont be a pussy!!!
:o [popcorn]
Well kids....the furniture business tossed me out on Aug 1st....couldn't make my monthly quota of delivered sales. You'd think people would want to come get things they've paid for asap, but such is not the case.
Next job: Car sales. (Is this a step up? Or a step down? Or...?) I found a job working at a brand new dealership opening up here in Waco under a good local name, it'll be a Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep dealership.
Good luck with the new job. [thumbsup] The manufacturers are "bailed out" and hopefully the economy keeps getting better. That should help car sales. Do you get to demo any Vipers? [evil]
Rest assured that if I do I will put up way too many pictures. ;D

Where,
exactly, is the economy getting better?
It certainly looks better here than other parts of the country. Gee, have you not noticed all the non-Texas license plates at every intersection? I'm sure they are not here for the weather. :P

I thought you were a marine.
Nope...I'm still pushin towards OCS for the Corps though. Every time I get within range of the qual standards for the fitness test, they raise the minimums. NorDog, if I remember right, you're a Marine....the minimum qual standard is now 270 on the PFT to be competetive for an OCS slot.

Not a marine; USN veteran. Hull Technician First Class/First Class Diver
Right on...that's really cool. My mom was a corpsman, and my dad was...something Navy related, I'm not sure what...he got sent to nuke school for reactors but didn't finish.
