mmmmmm.....clams :P
went ahead and bought one of these, keeps me from having to convert my under triple for the 748 to a fork front whenever I need it [thumbsup], looks like there's no more now!
Got mine yesterday. ;D
me too :) went ahead and put the monster up on both just because I could
For those who now have this CC stand and who have used other front stands in the past (under-the-fork-tube style), is the design of the CC stand a bit more stable when lifting the bike? I'm referring to the curved extended brackets that hold up the fork tubes.
It seemed that other mid-to-low priced front stands didn't give me as much confidence when compared to the triple-tree front stands. Joe, I think you know what I'm referring to.
$20, damn.... they might as well been giving them away for free.
I can tell you for sure that the cc stand is much much better. I have had plenty of experiences using the other types that do not have pivoting bumpers and I have inevitably always had the stand slip out behind the front wheel and drop the front of the bike down at least once every time (rearstands are awesome, never dropped a bike this way)
The CC stand had no slippage and works really well, especially for 47 bucks shipped :o
Yep I've got one and it works great on the monster but does not fit the motard. I suppose I need a MX style bike stand to get the front up.
Thanks for the feedback. And thanks for making me regret not getting one too.
Now excuse me while I go kick myself in the rear.
Good Deal
