Thanks but...no thanks.
I have been in many traffic jams in SouthEast Asia and this would NOT be my foot wear of choice.
DANGER!
this belongs in the fail thread
I had a friend make fun of me for wearing my gear. Said im a girl. One said, "yea...ummm im good enough so i dont crash." then when i asked if they wanted to go on a ride together, immediately they say "hell no i dont wanna die, bikes are scary." Holy crap. [bang]
"It is a sandal specifically designed and engineered for bikers. The built-in features are engineered for foot protection"
??? :-X [laugh] [laugh] [laugh]
Laff! [laugh]
The reflective stripe on them makes it easier to find your foot later ;D
but the bottom is fiberglas reinforced for your protection, what could go wrong?

Caution: As good as these sandals are , they are NOT enough. For complete rider protection you also need the Corona Tank top.

Yeah it seems silly to us, but it's not marketed for the western world is it? Women wear high heels on their little 100cc scooters in south east Asia, that's just the norm. Given the 100 degree temps and humidity, lack of a/c, culture of taking off your shoes when you enter a place, and making pennies a day, personal protective clothing is a non issue for the most part.
