I just installed a set of Oberon bar-end Turn signals to clean up the front a little. I wasn't sure about them at first but I think I like them. What do you guys think? They seem brighter than the cheap-o LED's I had on before.

This mod is one of the first ones I fell in love with [thumbsup] It seems like a very very good idea!
My only reason for not doing it is that I'm scared of how complicated it might be. Are you willing to do a write-up?
I wish I had thought of doing that before I installed them. I did a good "How-To" when I installed my crankcase breather valve...I guess I was just anxious to slap these on.
It was really straight forward. I removed the headlight to get better access to the wiring. I removed the old turn signals and then (here is the scary part) I cut the connectors off the wiring harness. I then installed the Oberon signals, ran the wires down the inside of the clip-ons, trimmed them to length, then soldered them to the wiring harness on the bike. The lights themselves installed just like a set of bar-ends, with an expanding collet. I shrink wrapped the connectors then hat was it. Put the headlight back on and I was done.
Ever since I learned how to solder (youtube video), I have been a soldering junkie. I have cleaned up so many wires just by trimming the excess, re-routing, then soldering them back together.
No resistors? Was determining +/- required?
Nope, no resistors. Wires were the same color as the Duc harness, black and white. too easy, hooked them right up and they have a standard flash rate.
I like [thumbsup]
The Oberons look very trick! Awesome bike. The black on black tank looks great.
those look amazing. too good with the rizoma mirrors
i want these now, but my clipons arent open on the end near the triple, did you have to drill a hole to route the wires down?
Thanks
There was a plastic plug, which I punched out with a long piece of left over bar stock.
I really like the dropped look of the clip-on's and the low Rizoma's too. I want a new headlight, then the front end will be done.
These are definitely on my list of to-do's, but I was wondering if they have an expasion set so you can use bar-end mirrors at the same time. I have broad shoulders so standard mirrors just won't cut it, and I hate the look of the little extensions you can buy.

I really like that look. My next set of mods include cleaning up the lights and looks of the bike. I'm doing a tail chop, integrated rear taillight, black clip-ons, and some sort of cleaned up front blinkers....and these look awesome.
sick. that is the tightest sh*t ive ever seen.

Stopintime, you're like the resident accessories lexicon. In fact, I'm pretty sure you have most of the part numbers from monsterparts and motowheels memorized:)
