Nothing fancy, bike's easy to ride, the banking and quick turns make it easy to lean at moderate (?) speeds...few laps down, I had both knees down as standard, the wobble scare gone and the toe sliders beaten to death...and yes finally both front-back chicken strips are history...Killboy, US129photos and Zeefoto crew at corners distract yet do a great job at capturing your precious moments...Walls decorated and am much happier! :) As for midwest enforcement, passing by motorists deserve a treat...I was a 50cc transport past all the [leo]... :) I think I use those mirrors or have learnt too...The 999 was good training...they were even worse on the 999 and I learnt to ride with one arm and position it such that it is useful...So, I'll keep mine...still old school in some ways...:)

You are an "S" man (as Dusty calls us) now. There aint nothin' back there, all you have to do is look forward.
We don't need no stinkin' mirrors.
I just think it's funny that we (Keith, Rosemary, Dave, and me) were sitting at my house Saturday night looking at Deal's Gap Videos (beginning with the pocketbikes video....funny stuff) and lo and behold a Deal's Gap thread shows up here the same weekend.
I hope you took time to ride some of the better roads in the area and got away from the squid infested US129 area. I lived in that area for most of my life and I have to say that we'd do almost anything to avoid Deal's Gap on a summer weekend (and most other times during the warmer months, too). Next time you're heading that way gimme a holler and I'll clue you in to some of the top secret "locals only" roads in the area. Little traffic, little enforcement, loads of fun!! Look up Warwoman Road, NC 215, or GA 60 (which is getting more well known, but isn't nearly as popular as US129, at least) for a start.
Glad you had fun on the Dragon.
great pics looks like fun...love the pic of the lean angle [thumbsup]

Thanks for the routes...Heard from TN locals that there were better roads than the dragon...I might look up these as I'll head out there for another session soon! It was a good change from having nothing around mid Ohio region!!! [beer]
I thoroughly enjoyed all the shots. There was nothing I hadn't seen before having ridden behind you on numerous twisty roads. ;D Glad you got to get some decent roads in. Hey, I thought you were going to be all moved back to New Mexico by June. What's going on with that?
good question!
whats the dilly-o?
